May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him. Romans 15:13
Starting Your Journey
The Bible says....
Man's Problem
Romans 3:23-26 23For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. 24 Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. 25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, 26 for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he declares sinners to be right in his sight when they believe in Jesus. Romans 6:23 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Man's Solution
Proverbs 14:12
12 There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.
Isaiah 59:2 2 It's your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore.
God's Response
Romans 5:8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
God's Solution
John 1:12-13 12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. 13 They are reborn not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.
Romans 10:9-10
9If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
